Gameplay and Objective

The goal is to match three or more identical alien portraits in a horizontal or vertical line. Matching tiles disappear from the board, and new alien tiles take their place, creating fresh opportunities to score.

Rather than completing a series of levels, Upgrade Match focuses on a single timed challenge. You have 60 seconds to create as many matches as possible and achieve your highest score.

Matching Alien Tiles

The puzzle board contains different alien portraits from the Ben 10 universe. Identifying groups of similar characters is the key to making successful matches.

Each swap moves a tile by one position, so you need to look for arrangements that can form a line of three or more matching portraits. Clearing one group changes the surrounding board, sometimes creating opportunities for additional matches.

Automatic Board Reshuffling

As matching groups disappear, new alien tiles appear to refill the board. This keeps the puzzle changing throughout the round.

If no valid matches remain, the game automatically reshuffles the tiles. You can then continue matching without manually restarting the board, although the 60-second countdown remains the main limitation.

Scoring and Replayability

Your score increases as you clear matching groups. The objective is to collect as many points as possible before the timer reaches zero.

Each attempt presents new tile arrangements, encouraging you to recognize patterns more quickly and improve your previous result. The short rounds make the game easy to replay.
