About Ben 10: Match Up

Ben 10: Match Up is a memory card game based on Cartoon Network's Ben 10 reboot series. Flip cards featuring Ben Tennyson, his friends, and familiar aliens, then find matching pairs to score points. Each round introduces a new set of cards, challenging you to remember their positions and build a longer streak of correct matches.

Gameplay and Objective

Your goal is to uncover every matching pair on the board. At the beginning of each round, the cards are briefly revealed before turning face down. Pay attention to the pictures and remember where each character appears.

Select two cards to turn them over. If their pictures match, the pair remains revealed and adds points to your score. If the pictures are different, the cards turn face down again, giving you another chance to remember their locations.

Once you find all the matching pairs, a new round begins with a different arrangement. The early rounds start with just four cards, making it easy to learn the rules before the challenge becomes more demanding.

Match Ben 10 Characters and Aliens

The cards feature characters from the Ben 10 universe, including Ben, Gwen, Grandpa Max, and several Omnitrix aliens. You may recognize familiar faces such as Heatblast, Diamondhead, Cannonbolt, Stinkfly, and Grey Matter.

Each character appears on two matching cards. You do not control the characters or use their alien abilities. Instead, you must recognize their pictures and remember where their matching cards are hidden.

Scoring and Match Streaks

Each successful match awards a base score of 10 points. Finding several pairs correctly in a row increases your score multiplier, rewarding careful observation and accurate choices.

A wrong match breaks your current streak, so guessing randomly is less effective than remembering which characters have already appeared. Completing a round also awards a bonus of 50 points.

There is no time limit. You can take as long as you need to study the cards and find their pairs, making the game more about memory and accuracy than quick reactions.

Increasing Difficulty

Match Up begins with two pairs of cards. As you complete more rounds, additional pairs appear and their positions become less predictable.

The game continues with new card arrangements rather than ending after a fixed number of levels. Try to improve your score by completing rounds with fewer mistakes and maintaining longer matching streaks.

Tips for Getting a Higher Score

  • Watch the opening reveal: Memorize as many character positions as possible before the cards turn face down.
  • Remember failed matches: Even two different cards provide useful information for future turns.
  • Focus on pairs: When you recognize a previously revealed character, try to remember where its matching card appeared.
  • Protect your streak: Consecutive correct matches increase your score multiplier.
  • Work systematically: Check cards in a consistent order to make their locations easier to remember.
  • Take your time: There is no countdown, so accuracy is more valuable than rushing.

Ben 10: Match Up offers a simple memory challenge with familiar Cartoon Network characters. Its expanding card layouts and scoring streaks make it easy to learn while rewarding players who can remember more pairs as the rounds progress.
