About Ben 10: Upgrade Chasers

Ben 10: Upgrade Chasers is a fast-paced arcade driving game based on Cartoon Network's 2016 Ben 10 animated series. Ben Tennyson transforms into Upgrade, an alien capable of merging with technology, to take control of vehicles and race through an obstacle-filled route. The challenge is to keep moving, switch between cars before their energy runs out, and reach the finish line.

Gameplay and Objective

Your vehicle moves forward automatically along a road filled with traffic and dangerous obstacles. The goal is to reach the end of the course without losing all your energy or becoming trapped by road hazards.

Unlike traditional racing games, Upgrade Chasers focuses on changing vehicles rather than accelerating or braking. You must judge the positions of nearby cars, avoid obstacles, and find opportunities to transfer Upgrade into another vehicle.

Upgrade's Vehicle Switching Ability

Upgrade can merge with different vehicles and take control of their systems. This allows him to leave his current car and possess another vehicle traveling nearby.

Each possessed vehicle has a limited amount of energy. As the meter decreases, staying in the same car becomes increasingly risky. Moving Upgrade into another vehicle replenishes the available energy and lets the chase continue.

Choosing when to switch is one of the most important decisions in the game. You need a nearby vehicle in a suitable position, and the road ahead must remain clear enough to continue safely.

Road Hazards and Special Vehicles

The route contains obstacles, traffic, rocks, and barriers that threaten your progress. Collisions can reduce your remaining energy, making it harder to reach the destination.

Some vehicles have special abilities suited to particular hazards. One special form features a spinning attachment that can destroy rocks and other barriers blocking the road. Using the right vehicle at the right moment can help you overcome sections that would otherwise be dangerous.

Energy Management and Progression

The energy meter is central to the challenge. Your current vehicle cannot be used indefinitely, so continuing the race requires finding replacement cars while avoiding collisions.

As the route becomes more demanding, traffic and obstacles require quicker decisions. Successfully reaching the finish line depends on keeping enough energy available and making safe vehicle changes throughout the chase.

Tips for Completing the Race

  • Watch your energy: Look for another vehicle before the current meter runs out.
  • Plan vehicle changes: Consider the position of nearby cars and the hazards immediately ahead.
  • Avoid unnecessary collisions: Hitting obstacles can reduce your remaining energy.
  • Use special vehicles wisely: Vehicles equipped to destroy barriers can help clear otherwise dangerous routes.
  • Look ahead: Watch for rocks, traffic, and roadblocks before reaching them.
  • Keep moving toward the finish: Managing energy and switching cars safely are more important than staying in one vehicle.

Keyboard Controls

  • Left Arrow: Steer your vehicle to the left.
  • Right Arrow: Steer your vehicle to the right.
  • X: Transfer Upgrade to a vehicle on the left.
  • C: Transfer Upgrade to a vehicle on the right.

Your vehicle moves forward automatically. Switch vehicles before the energy meter runs out.
