Ben 10: Power Surge

Ben 10 Power Surge is a side-scrolling arcade shooter based on Cartoon Network's 2016 Ben 10 animated series. Billy Billions has hijacked the Rustbucket, and Ben Tennyson must chase him through Oldeville to recover it. With the help of a repaired drone and the Omnitrix, Ben battles waves of robotic enemies while pursuing Billy's limousine.

Gameplay and Objective

The action takes place across horizontally scrolling stages where Ben travels forward on a flying drone. Enemy robots approach from different directions, and some launch projectiles that threaten Ben's limited health. Your goal is to destroy incoming drones, avoid enemy attacks, and survive long enough to confront Billy Billions.

Ben attacks automatically, making positioning and avoiding danger important parts of the game. Different drones present different threats, including flying enemies, ground-based machines, and robots equipped with ranged weapons.

Omnitrix Energy and Transformations

Defeated enemies can leave behind Omnitrix tokens. Collecting these tokens fills the energy meter, improves Ben's attacks, and helps restore his health.

As the battle progresses, Ben can transform into two aliens from the 2016 series:

• Heatblast: A fire-powered alien who launches flaming projectiles at approaching enemies.
• Stinkfly: A flying insect-like alien who attacks enemies with green slime projectiles.

Collecting additional Omnitrix energy strengthens your attacks, helping you deal with tougher enemies as the stages progress.

Boss Battles

Billy Billions attacks from his limousine at the end of each stage. His weapons include a large laser cannon, a missile-launching gun, and a spinning saw blade. Later encounters combine these attacks, making it harder to avoid damage while continuing to fight.

Successfully defeating Billy's weapon allows you to advance to the next stage. The challenges become more demanding as new enemy patterns and weapon combinations appear.

Scoring and Survival

Destroying enemy drones earns points, while collecting Omnitrix energy helps Ben remain in the fight. Surviving requires balancing offensive progress with defensive positioning, especially when several enemies or projectiles appear at once.

Each attempt gives you an opportunity to improve your score and learn the attack patterns of enemies and bosses.

• Collect Omnitrix tokens: Energy pickups improve your attacks and help replenish your health.

• Prioritize survival: Do not risk losing health just to collect a token or destroy one more enemy.
• Adapt to new threats: Later encounters can combine multiple boss weapons, requiring more careful positioning.
