About Toon Cup 2021
Toon Cup 2021 is a Cartoon Network soccer game that brings characters from several animated series together for fast-paced football matches. Choose a country to represent, assemble a three-player team, and compete against other cartoon teams to win trophies and climb the rankings.
Gameplay and Objective
Start by selecting your country and choosing a captain and two teammates. Each match takes place on a compact soccer field where you control your players, pass the ball, tackle opponents, and shoot at the goal. The objective is to score more goals than the opposing team before the match timer runs out.
Use the directional controls to move around the field and the action button to pass, tackle, or shoot depending on the situation. Hold the action button to charge a shot, then release it with good timing for a more accurate attempt on goal.

Tournament Mode challenges you to represent your chosen country through a series of knockout matches. Win each game to advance toward the final and claim the trophy.
Toon Leagues offers a different progression system. Create your squad, face other teams, and work your way through league rankings. Earn coins from matches and use them to unlock additional players, footballs, stadiums, and character upgrades.
Power-Ups and Match Challenges
During matches, watch for collectible power-ups that can change the flow of play. These special items can give your team a temporary advantage or disrupt opponents. Coins and rewards also support progression outside individual matches.
Good positioning, quick passes, well-timed tackles, and accurate shooting are important when facing stronger teams.
Tips for Winning Matches
- Pass into open space: Move the ball between teammates instead of repeatedly running into defenders.
- Time your shots: Hold the shoot button to charge your kick and release it in the favorable section of the power meter.
- Defend carefully: Position your player near the ball carrier before attempting a tackle.
- Collect useful power-ups: Take advantage of special items when they appear on the field.
- Upgrade your squad: Spend earned coins on stronger players and improvements in Toon Leagues.
