Before entering a tournament, choose the country you want to represent and select three characters for your squad. Each player has different abilities, including speed, shooting power, and tackling accuracy.

Ben Tennyson and Four Arms are among the available Ben 10 characters. Four Arms offers strong shooting power, while Ben provides a more balanced set of abilities. XLR8 can also be unlocked, giving your team another fast-moving option.

You can mix characters from different Cartoon Network series. A balanced team with fast runners, strong shooters, and reliable defenders can give you an advantage against tougher opponents.

Gameplay and Objective

Toon Cup 2020 features arcade-style soccer matches with three selectable outfield characters on each team. The goalkeeper is controlled automatically, allowing you to concentrate on moving the ball, passing, defending, and scoring.

Use the arrow keys to move your current player. When your team has possession, press Spacebar to pass the ball or hold it to prepare a stronger shot toward the opposing goal.

When shooting, a power meter appears. Release Spacebar at the right moment to improve your chance of scoring. Good timing is important because an underpowered or poorly timed shot may be stopped by the goalkeeper.

When the opposing team has possession, press Spacebar to tackle and attempt to recover the ball. You can also collect power-ups that appear on the field to gain temporary advantages.

Quick Match and Tournament Mode

There are two main ways to play:

• Quick Match: Jump into a single soccer match without completing an entire tournament.
• Tournament: Represent your chosen country and compete through three rounds, including the quarterfinals, semifinals, and final.

Each match lasts approximately 90 seconds. Score more goals than your opponent to win. If the score is tied when time runs out, play continues until another goal decides the result.

Unlock Characters, Stadiums, and Upgrades

Tournament matches reward points that can be used to unlock additional content. These rewards give you more ways to customize your team and playing experience.

• Characters: Unlock additional Cartoon Network players, including XLR8 from Ben 10.
