About Ben 10: Alien Strike

Ben 10: Alien Strike is a side-scrolling action-platform game based on the original Ben 10 animated series. Play as Ben Tennyson and travel through dangerous environments, overcome obstacles, and use the Omnitrix to access three alien forms with different abilities.

Story

Vilgax is determined to take possession of the Omnitrix. To force Ben into surrendering it, he sends the bounty hunters Six-Six and Kraab to kidnap Gwen and Grandpa Max. With his family in danger, Ben must confront Vilgax's forces and rescue them before it is too late.

Gameplay

The adventure combines running, jumping, climbing, and combat across side-scrolling levels. Ben begins in his human form but can collect Omnitrix icons to temporarily transform into powerful aliens. Each transformation has a specific ability that helps him deal with enemies or overcome obstacles.

Choosing the right alien for each situation is an important part of the challenge. Some obstacles require brute strength, while others are better handled with firepower or enhanced climbing and jumping abilities. Omnitrix transformations are temporary, so players must make use of them before their effects wear off.

Alien Transformations

  • Wildmutt: Leaps across large gaps and clings to vertical surfaces. Wildmutt can climb walls and jump away from them to reach otherwise inaccessible areas.
  • Four Arms: Uses tremendous strength to smash through crates and other obstacles simply by walking into them. Enemies cannot harm Ben while this powerful form is active.
  • Heatblast: Shoots fireballs to attack enemies and destroy certain parts of the environment. His ranged fire attack is especially useful for clearing obstacles from a distance.

Game Features

  • Classic 2D side-scrolling platform action.
  • Three playable alien transformations with distinct abilities.
  • Temporary Omnitrix power-ups found throughout the levels.
  • Environmental obstacles that require different alien powers.
  • Enemies and bounty hunters working for Vilgax.
  • A rescue mission featuring Gwen and Grandpa Max.

Ben 10: Alien Strike combines traditional platforming with the transformation mechanics of the original cartoon. The variety of alien abilities adds an extra layer of strategy, requiring more than simply running and jumping to make progress.

Keyboard Controls

  • Left / Right Arrow: Move Ben left or right.
  • Up / Down Arrow: Climb up or down when using Wildmutt.
  • Spacebar: Jump over gaps and obstacles.
  • X: Use an action or alien ability.
